The [Open Web Foundry](https://owf.dev/) is a combination of incubator and accelerator programs, specially tailored to support both brand new and experienced founders in building the new, decentralized web. 

Currently undertaking its fourth batch of participants, the Open Web Foundry is [hosted on Gitcoin](https://gitcoin.co/hackathon/arweave4/onboard) and welcomes applications from developers and founders of all backgrounds throughout the duration of the six-week program. For the fourth time, the Arweave core team is making $100,000 in investment available to participants, to be allocated following the end of the program on September 1st 2021. The Foundry’s goal is to support the expansion of the permaweb ecosystem, helping founders and builders create, launch, and grow their profit sharing communities and permaweb apps, 

The Foundry program offers a wide range of live events including masterclasses and community showcases, one-on-one mentoring and professional development sessions, plus a vast range of tooling and technical support. Previous alumni of the Foundry program have raised over $10 million. Successful projects include [Verto](https://verto.exchange/) (profit sharing token exchange platform) and [ArDrive](https://ardrive.io/) (public & private permaweb file storage app).
